2012 rates are based on diesel at or below $3.00 per gallon at Fisherman’s Marina. If diesel is above $3.00 per gallon, the actual difference used will be added to the price of the trip. For example; Let’s say you book a 12 Hr. Offshore Trolling Trip and you have a crew of five. At the end of the day, we have used 100 gallon of diesel and the price is $3.75 per gallon at the marina. The extra cost added to the trip would be: 100 gallons x .75 = $75.00. That’s only $15.00 extra per man. Here another example; You book a 8 Hr. Premium Wreck/Bottom Trip for six people. At the end of the day, we have used 40 gallons and the price is $3.75 per gallon at the marina. The extra cost added to the trip would be: 40 gallon x .75 = $30.00. That’s only than $5.00 extra per man.
The price of diesel at our marina is less than you see at gas stations since road tax is not added.
