2012 rates are based on $3.00 per gallon diesel at Fisherman’s Marina. If diesel is above $3.00 per gallon, the actual difference will be added to the price of the trip. For example; You book a 12 Hr. Offshore Trolling Trip for six people. At the end of the day, we have used 100 gallon of diesel and the price is $3.75 per gallon. The extra added to the trip would be: 100 gallons x .75 = $75.00. That’s only $12.50 per man. Here another example; You book a 8 Hr. Premium Wreck/Bottom Trip for six people. At the end of the day, we have used 40 gallons of diesel. The extra added to the trip would be: 40 gallon x .75 = $30.00. That’s only $5.00 per man.
The price of diesel at our marina is less than you see at gas stations since road tax is not added.
